Ryujin, the main rapper of ITZY, was discovered at a GOT7 concert and trained for four years before debuting ๐. Chaeryeong, the main dancer of ITZY, started training at JYP Entertainment in 2013 and trained for six years before debuting ๐ฐ๏ธ. Although she didn’t make it into TWICE, she continued training and eventually debuted with ITZY ๐.
Yuna, the youngest member of ITZY, joined JYP Entertainment in 2016 and trained for three years ๐. She was discovered at a music festival and appeared in BTS’s Love Yourself Highlight Reel alongside Ryujin ๐ฌ. Before becoming an idol, Yuna played floorball for four years, which helped her develop her physical strength and endurance ๐ธ.
Lia, the main vocalist of ITZY, trained for two years before debuting ๐ถ. She initially auditioned for SM Entertainment but didn’t join due to her parents’ wishes, and later joined JYP Entertainment in 2017 ๐. Lia is fluent in English because she lived in Canada for several years, which makes her ITZY’s main English speaker ๐จ๐ฆ.
