J-Hope joined BTS after auditioning for Big Hit Entertainment, where he impressed the company with his passion and dance skills 🕺. He had previously auditioned for JYP Entertainment when he was in middle school, but he didn’t become a full-time trainee there, so he looked for another opportunity 🎤. His dance teacher recommended him to Big Hit, and he was accepted as a trainee in 2010, moving to Seoul to live with other future BTS members in a dormitory 🏠.
J-Hope started learning to rap from his fellow trainees, like RM and Suga, who were already skilled rappers, and he quickly developed his skills 🎶. Over time, he became an integral part of the group, contributing his talents as a dancer, rapper, and singer-songwriter, which eventually led to his debut with BTS in 2013 🎉.
After years of training, J-Hope officially debuted as a member of BTS on June 13, 2013, performing on the music show M! Countdown 📺. Since then, he has become known for his energetic performances and meaningful lyrics, inspiring fans worldwide with his music and message of hope 💖.
