This was due to their extensive activities in Japan that year, including a fanclub tour and a dome tour, which made them the first foreign artists to perform four consecutive dome tours.
Their Japan Dome Tour, which took place from 2013 to 2014, was also very successful. It visited six major concert domes in Japan, making BigBang the first foreign artists to headline such a large-scale tour. The tour was sold out and grossed over $70 million from sixteen shows.
