NCT 127’s first concert tour was called “Neo City – The Origin.” This tour started in Seoul, South Korea, on January 26, 2019, and went to many cities around the world, including those in Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe. The tour supported their studio albums “Regular-Irregular” and “Awaken,” as well as their extended play “We Are Superhuman.” During the tour, NCT 127 performed a total of 45 concerts, selling over 267,000 tickets and earning about $28.9 million in revenue.
The tour was very successful, especially in Asia, where it attracted large audiences in countries like Japan and South Korea. In Japan alone, the tour earned over $12.9 million from 22 shows, while in South Korea, it earned nearly $2.7 million from just two shows in Seoul. The tour also visited North America, where it performed in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, earning over $7.7 million from 12 shows. Overall, “Neo City – The Origin” marked a significant milestone for NCT 127, showcasing their global appeal and energetic performances.
The tour concluded on February 24, 2020, and was followed by other successful tours, including “Neo City – The Link” and “Neo City – The Unity.” However, member WinWin did not participate in the “Neo City – The Origin” tour due to his commitments in China. Despite his absence, the tour was well-received by fans worldwide.
