Before debuting with NewJeans, Danielle appeared in several children’s shows. She was a regular cast member on tvN’s Rainbow Kindergarten, and she also appeared in Jesse’s Play Kitchen and My Heart’s Crayon. These shows helped her gain experience in the entertainment industry from a young age.
Hyein also had experience in children’s entertainment before joining NewJeans. She was a member of the children’s music group U.SSO Girl and later joined the Play With Me Club, a YouTube collective. Additionally, she appeared on the EBS children’s television show Live Talk! Talk! Boni Hani! as part of a co-ed dance group called SIXDANCE.
Both Danielle and Hyein’s early involvement in children’s shows helped prepare them for their future careers as K-pop idols with NewJeans.
