Seventeen’s first solo concert was called “Like Seventeen – Boys Wish.” It was a four-show concert series held in Seoul from December 24 to 26, 2015, as a year-end celebration. This concert was very successful, and because of that, the group decided to hold two encore concerts in February 2016.
The concert series was part of their early success after debuting in May 2015 with their EP “17 Carat.” During this time, Seventeen was gaining popularity quickly, and their music was well-received by fans. The group’s energetic performances and catchy songs helped them win several awards, including those at the Golden Disk Awards and Seoul Music Awards.
Seventeen’s early concerts, like “Like Seventeen – Boys Wish,” set the stage for their future tours, which would take them across Asia, North America, and other parts of the world. Their ability to perform high-energy shows with precise choreography has made them known as one of the best live performers in K-pop.
Seventeen’s first major tour, the “Shining Diamonds Tour,” started in July 2016 and visited several cities in Asia and Oceania. This tour was a continuation of their success from the earlier concerts and helped establish them as a prominent K-pop group internationally.
