NCT’s first full-length album is called NCT 2018 Empathy. This album was released on March 14, 2018, and it features eighteen members from different sub-units of the group. The album includes fourteen tracks, some of which were previously released as singles, and it achieved significant commercial success by peaking at number two on the Gaon Album Chart in South Korea.
The album received a Platinum certification from the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for selling over 250,000 copies, and it eventually sold more than 636,000 physical copies in South Korea alone. NCT 2018 Empathy also gained international recognition by reaching number five on the Billboard World Albums chart, marking a milestone for NCT as their first appearance on European charts.
The album includes notable singles like “Boss,” “Baby Don’t Stop,” “Go,” “Touch,” and “Black on Black,” each featuring different sub-units of NCT. The variety in tracks showcases the group’s diverse musical styles and talents, making NCT 2018 Empathy a memorable debut studio album for NCT.
